Typography - the art of arranging type - expands the world of our written language.
In our current time, where the way we shop, play, and move have drastically changed; traditional typography has also drastically shifted in ways that are apparent in our packaging.
For the November issue of Topawards, we will explore this and the methods in which typography is used;
the abilities it has to enhance the materiality, functionality or appearance of the packaging, and how sometimes, visual images are not needed.
For typography has the power to effectively communicate a certain character so clearly that sometimes that's all we need.
