We wanted what is truly good—not just what seems good—to be the norm.　This belief is the starting point of Wood Based WIPES, shaping both its design and the way the product is made.

In Japan, a sense of safety is often derived from familiar claims such as “99% purified water,” “Made in Japan,” or “additive-free.” Yet we felt it was essential to draw attention to the remaining 1%. By listing every ingredient on the lid—an element that naturally enters the user’s field of vision with each use—we turned our stance on safety into a visible, integral part of the design itself.

While positioned as a baby and hygiene product, we intentionally avoided childlike ornamentation and excessive explanations. Instead, we pursued a quiet, refined package—one that adults can comfortably incorporate into their everyday lives.
