After a product is used up, its container is discarded.

We thought about how to reuse and utilize used containers. Wudu Liquor is a Chinese white spirit bottled in a porcelain container that delivers an oriental charm. The product comes with a matching porcelain coaster that holds the product in place, also adding to its oriental aesthetics. We enclosed a twig of dried flowers as well as a user manual to guide users on how to reuse the product as a decoration or an ornament in their living spaces.

In addition we purposely unsealed the outer box packaging. This way, consumers can keep the out box intact without tearing it apart, when unboxing the product. Consumers are notified, when returning the used product in its original box packaging, they will be given a discount on their second purchase. By doing so, manufacturers can refill using the same containers and packaging. This method is beneficial to both consumers and manufacturers.
