Founded in the 2nd year of Meiji (the year 1869) by the Kyoto Yamashiro Foundation, Ujien's signature teas "Okame" and "Hyottoko."
As the next generation of people move further away from the traditional tea, a new series of sweets were developed to "eat your tea", as a new way to enjoy Japanese tea
