For the opening of the specialty coffee shop ease coffee, we were responsible for the overall brand design, including the logo, product packaging, and shop tools.
As part of this, we designed packaging for the shop’s signature product, canelés—an item in high demand as a gift. To accommodate single-piece gifting, we created a trapezoid-shaped box.
In terms of graphic design, we based our approach on the shop’s theme of “a fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics,” incorporating the geometric qualities of traditional Japanese family crests with the soft curves found in Scandinavian textiles, and developing a design inspired by the form of the canelé itself.
