1. A low–environmental-impact, regionally circular product design that makes use of byproducts such as Noto-produced sake lees and rice bran, as well as surplus inventory generated in the aftermath of the earthquake.

2. A symbolic package design that reproduces the natural colors inherent to Noto’s materials—such as the deep charcoal tones of kiku-zumi and the warm browns of rice bran.

3. The brand name NAIA is constructed with an upward-slanting line that evokes the Noto Peninsula itself, expressing the idea that Noto’s nature nourishes all five senses.

Based in Suzu City, which suffered devastating damage in the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we are rebuilding a wellness business rooted in local resources and craftsmanship.By scientifically analyzing natural materials and by-products, and collaborating with Noto artisans and producers together with Keiz Co., Ltd. in Kanazawa, we co-develop products starting from primary resources.

We oversee the planning, manufacturing, and sales of skincare products in an integrated process, and with a new brand logo and a design that conveys the essence of Noto through all five senses, we share this story with audiences across Japan and around the world.

From planning and formulation to manufacturing and sales, skincare products are produced in an integrated process. Together with a newly designed brand logo, the brand communicates the essence of Noto through a design that engages all five senses—sharing its story across Japan and with the world.
