Developed by KYOYA DISTILLER & BREWER with over 180 years of sake and shochu brewing history; “YUZU GIN” is made from yuzu, mandarin, and other botanical herbs and spices. It is a good representation of Japanese wa-style craft gin.
The product blends the bright Western scents and the deep Japanese wa scents together, but also highlights the individuality and characteristic of each scent. The product name is a play on words; it derives from combining “Aburatsu” (location of the distiller / brewer) and “Yuzu” (main ingredient) together: 油津吟. The design uses modern cool typography to point out its latest distillation technology and process. To bring out the premium feel and finish, each product is sealed by hand using yuzu colored wax.
