The world’s regional sweets are popular and loved by its people. I wanted to embrace the tastes and feelings of the sweets with the packaging. I asked illustrator Nanae Hassaku to design impactful yet adorable characters based on our sweets. The illustrations also depict the ingredients we used. 

For Basler Läckerli, a square shaped four legged animal with bees and cinnamon sticks are drawn. Square boxes are used for all products. However, the illustrations and color combinations differ according to each sweet. The lid is a postcard that can be used to write your personal message and be given as a gift.
